CULTURAL  EXTRAVAGANZA

The lifeblood of the OSA Convention has been exceptional cultural programs over the past 50+ years. The OSA convention is very well known for high quality cultural programs featuring individuals from the community across various age groups, professionals as well as celebrities. The OSA 2023 Convention team is planning several cultural events including celebrity appearances across the broad categories of dance, music, drama, contests, mehfil, chai & chill, etc.

 Cultural Participants must be

  • A member of OSA with a primary residence in USA or Canada.
  • Must be registered in OSA 2023 convention.
  • Guest artists (from Odisha and here) will be exceptions and need to  be approved by OSA & Convention team.
Aarohi, as our theme for the OSA 2023 Convention, this is a call to the youth from all the chapters, who are the future as well as the holder of our legacy, with limitless opportunities to make the world a better place.

You can make us laugh, cry or take us a step closer to the expression of human emotions through your acting. Bring a story and drama from your chapter.

Remembering Subrina – Share your classical dance performance live on stage to be judged alongside performances of other participants.(Age 8-18)

Traditional Odissi music – Demonstrate your skills in Odissi, Champu, Chanda (vocal or instrumental) with others (Age 7 – 18)

Program dedicated to honoring and presenting our own immensely talented artists with many other forums.
